Vacheval: an interesting story

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of goviral. All opinions are 100% mine.
Are you aware of Vacheval? No? It might be helpful to mention that it is an animal. What species? Well, it is a cross between a cow and a horse. And what’s with the name? Vacheval sounds like a French name: Vache=cow and Cheval=horse. It looks smaller than a cow or a horse and it has definitely a unique appearance.
In fact it has something to do with Belgium; Vacheval has been reared on a farm just outside Leuven in Belgium. In a rare unseen footage of the Belgian television, from 1963 (as seen above), we can see the story of this animal; a definitely strange animal.
What was the purpose of breeding such an animal? A new form of CO2 reducing transportation.
We do not often come across so strange cases. That’s why we should mention and quote Alain du Monde, who was an eco extraordinaire working for the Belgian television at the above mentioned period of time: “The Vacheval were magnifique, they were not only eco but they were chic too, those behind the Vacheval were clearly visionary in recognising the future environmental issues facing man-kind
How the story ends? Well, no one seems to know what happened to Vacheval and whether they exist today.
What a strange story.
