How to clean a DVD

There are many different method(s) for cleaning a DVD, that are effective. Required Tools: Soft cloth or rag Required Materials: DVD Rubbing Alcohol Water Instructions are as follows:
1. You can try cleaning the DVD disc by utilizing a soft cloth or a microfiber cloth without the use of any cleaning solution to start wiping it off. Just start cleaning from the center of the disc and clean straight out towards the border. This practice will help to prevent the dirt from hindering the performance or the contents from being read.
2. Rubbing alcohol can be mixed with water to create a cleaning solution for the DVD. Make the mixture with the same amounts of alcohol and water. Then dampen the cloth with the cleaning agent and clean off the disc. This will remove any form of stain or fingerprints and the solution dissolves very rapidly without leaving any residue.
3. Glass cleaner is also a great solution for cleaning DVD disc. Just spray some glass cleaner onto a rag and then use the rag to clean the DVD. This is especially helpful if you are trying to get off sticky substances like soda from off the DVD. 4. Toothpaste can also be used on the surface to take out minor scratches. All you need to do is just mildly add a dab of the abrasive toothpaste to the scratched area and add some water to buff it out.
